About
I am a Psychoanalyst, Group Analyst and Consultant Clinical & Forensic Psychologist. I have a private practice based at 10 Windsor Walk, SE5 8BB, and Bromley, BR1, providing in-person psychological consultations, psychological therapy, group psychotherapy and supervision to professionals and trainees. I also offer some online work to people.
What I do
I provide psychological consultation and psychotherapy, using a psychoanalytic approach. In brief, psychoanalytic approaches are open-ended, exploratory psychotherapies that have a focus on the unconscious causes of distress and mental health difficulties. I also provide consultations, assessments and recommendations for those considering any form of psychological therapy, and wanting to explore options
Who can I help?
Subject to consultation, I may be able to help with problems related to depression, anxiety, relationships, sex and sexuality, trauma, abuse, problems with attachment, identity, transitions, bereavement, stress or medically unexplained symptoms. However, psychoanalytic therapy is not a symptom-focused approach and I would recommend other kinds of therapies if that seemed more suitable.
Training and regulation
I have an Honours degree in Psychology & Counselling, a MSc in Forensic Psychology, an MSc in Group Analysis and a qualifying Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I am qualified in Group Analysis at the Institute of Group Analysis, and in Adult Psychoanalysis with the Institute of Psychoanalysis.
I am a Chartered Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
I am regulated as a Psychoanalyst by the British Psychoanalytic Council. – Registration No: 11554
