Sebastien Black is a counsellor and psychotherapist accredited by the NCPS and founder of Soft Focus Therapy.
He offers trauma-informed care rooted in EMDR, parts work, and nervous system awareness.
As an ex-boarder himself, he understands the subtle and not-so-subtle ways boarding school can shape a person’s sense of self, safety, and relationships. His work is grounded in the belief that trauma isn’t just about what happened, but how the body learned to survive it.
Sebastien works gently and collaboratively, helping clients reconnect with their inner resources while processing painful memories at a pace that feels manageable.
