Virginia is a BACP Accredited counsellor with an MA in Trauma Studies and a PhD in Psycho-oncology. She has a private practice in Yorkshire, seeing clients both face-to-face and online. She specialises in trauma, bereavement and parenting issues and is an experienced Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner. In 2016 she completed the Un-making of Them diploma with Nick Duffell. Virginia initially trained as a chartered accountant in the City of London, before spending many years teaching classics in UK independent schools, including an elite girls’ boarding school
